Fuji Seal Solar Power System (Thailand)

Delivering a solar power system on a tight schedule for a long-standing partner in Thailand.

Background & challenge

The solar power system was important for Fuji Seal Packaging to save electricity costs and, most importantly, to qualify its products for export. In 2022, Constant Energy engaged Welltek to install the system at Fuji Seal's facility. Although planned for the factory roof, Welltek found the building was not strong enough to bear the weight — so Welltek Thailand's engineers reinforced the structure (outside the original scope) before installation could begin.

Our approach

Welltek handled engineering, electrical and structural design and led document submission for government approval, rapidly sourcing components. Beyond the panels, Welltek delivered the mounting structure, power grid, inverter house, water-cleaning and monitoring systems, plus safety features such as walkways and guardrails for future maintenance. Constant Energy initially asked for 120 days, but Fuji Seal requested delivery in 45 days so Japanese senior management could inspect the facility. Welltek expanded a single subcontractor team into three coordinated teams working in parallel.

Results

Completed in August 2022, Welltek delivered a high-quality solar power system in just 45 days, meeting the client's expectations and significantly reducing Fuji's energy bills. Constant Energy fulfilled a challenging contract, and Welltek demonstrated its ability to go above and beyond in the Thai market.
